Description
GAR-2(HIR-2)Anti–glycophorin A reacts with a major sialoglycoprotein present on the human erythrocyte membrane. Glycophorin A is a transmembrane dimeric complex of 31 kilodaltons (kd) with its caboxyterminal ends extending into the cytoplasm of the red cell.
