Description
Purified Human sex hormone binding globulin , is a ~90 kDa homodimeric glycoprotein composed of two 45 kDa subunits linked via disulphide bridges. It is an androgen transport protein which binds and regulates the free concentration of steroid hormones and is involved in steroid signalling at the cell membrane.
Storage Information
Store at -20°C only.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the protein. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
