The RetractoFit is an innovative retractable housing specifically engineered for 225 mm long sensors in a wide range of industrial applications. Its primary function is to allow operators to safely mount and dismount sensors without interrupting the ongoing process.
This capability ensures secure sensor handling during operation, as the design inherently prevents insertion into the vessel without a sensor and also prohibits removal while the sensor is in the active measuring position. The RetractoFit prioritizes ease of use and maintenance: a simple press of the red button is all that is required to move the sensor into or out of the process stream. Furthermore, all O-rings within the housing are designed for easy replacement by the operator, eliminating the need for specialized tools and reducing maintenance costs and downtime. The RetractoFit is available in several different versions to suit various installation requirements and process conditions.

Please note that when using the RetractoFit housing with specific Arc sensors, VisiFerm mA, VisiTrace mA, and their protective sleeves, the aperture (hole) in the protective sleeve may need to be enlarged. Alternatively, the housing can be used without the protective sleeve in these cases. Additionally, wireless adapters fitted on top of Arc sensors can only be utilized when the protective sleeve is not installed.
