Hamilton, PRP-1 10 µm, 50 x 250 mm, PN: 79567

PRP-1 resin (PN: 79567) is a highly cross-linked poly(styrene-divinylbenzene) polymer. Unlike silica-based C8 or C18 columns, the PRP-1 column has inherent reversed-phase separation qualities without the bonded ligand on the sorbent.

Description
PRP-1 columns have inherent reversed-phase separation qualities that eliminate the requirement for a stationary phase coating. Hydrolysis of the bonded ligands such as C18 or C8, is often the limiting factor in column lifetime, so the lack of coating on the PRP-1 resin extends the longevity of the column. PRP-1 also has exceptional sample recovery (≥ 95%). Application Examples: Organic compounds: small molecules (< 2,000 mw), pharmaceuticals, steroids, nucleic acids, vitamins, herbicides.
